As a certified arborist I was lead to a life of being surrounded by wood. This influenced my use of this medium to create from it, works of art that have a connection to my environment and heritage. Trained by First Nations in culture, symbolism and carving methods, I now apply this woodcarving style to my own heritage of Celtic and Norse roots.
