2026 was a transformative year in my woodturning journey. In the spring I launched the multi-platform brand @Woodtwirler to showcase my artistic process through video. The response was incredible as my very first videos received millions of views and thousands of comments. Through this exposure, my work gained an international audience. But the real treasure was the online community of artists and enthusiasts that embraced me and my work, the words of encouragement and the sharing of knowledge I’ve only felt in one other place: right here on Bowen Island.
I am thrilled to be returning to the Arts Tour with a brand new collection of natural edge vessels and twice-turned pieces. This year I’ve been turning an amazing variety of locally sourced woods including oak, cherry, maple, walnut and beech, many of which will be available at my booth. Hope to see you all there!
