Liz's eye is drawn to the beauty of our local coastline where water meets land and abundant sea life adorns tidal pools. Sun-warmed rocks, gnarly arbutus trees, sea stars and the many moods and colours of the ocean are common features in her work. Liz is currently painting with oil and her style is both realistic and whimsical, and she enjoys playing with colour and movement in her paintings. She has taught drawing and painting workshops to children, youth and adults and she has been producing a line of Bowen Island Greeting Cards for over 30 years.
