Cartoons are the art of saying a lot with very little. In the hands of a skilled cartoonist, a simple doodle becomes a tiny stage where ideas create laughter. Satire and exaggeration can provide sharp social commentary. On view cartoons by Ron Woodall, Pauline Thu and Mort Graham Artworks are for your viewing pleasure but not for Sale.
About the Museum:
A quaint two-story building, Bowen Island Museum and Archives is located on a beautiful treed lot, only a short walk from Snug Cove. Exhibits showcasing artifacts and photographs are on the main floor, and are open to the public. For more information, please see Exhibits and Events below.
Additionally, Higgins Cabin is a permanent, two-room display located just across from the main building. It showcases a collection of logger’s tools, and allows visitors to see how Bert Higgins, the original owner, may have lived in the mid-20th century.
