For 30 years, designer Caroline Hurd has been devoted to designing clothes for all body shapes and—especially over the last decade—to developing techniques that put circular-economy values into practice. Her work is driven by a deep love of textiles and the stories they carry, transforming heirloom fabrics and found materials into pieces that feel both contemporary and enduring. Through thoughtful silhouettes and meticulous craftsmanship, she creates garments that become timeless keepsakes—objects meant to be worn, cherished, and passed on.
Caroline completed her MA in Fashion in London. During her studies, she learned from master tailors on Savile Row and worked for Marina Rinaldi in Italy, a Max Mara brand dedicated to a plus-size clientele. Upon returning to Montreal, she designed for Tristan and Jacob before eventually settling on Bowen where she offers bespoke design and redesign services to a private clientele.
