Our monthly meetings are presently held at Collins Hall. The United Church, commonly known as ‘the little Red Church’, was erected in 1932 by volunteers on land donated by the Collins Family. Originally living quarters were located at the back of the church which was heated by a pot bellied stove. A bell was added in 1956 donated by the Union Steamship Company, with stained glass windows added in the 1970s. This building is among the oldest on the island and certainly the oldest in continual operation as a church.
