Helen Platts is a Bowen Island–based multidisciplinary artist whose paintings, sculptures, and pottery explore nature’s quiet reclamation of the human world. Working with clay, paint, and reclaimed materials, she captures the textures and stories of moss, bark, nature, and time — revealing beauty in decay and renewal. Her work reflects a deep reverence for the land and a fascination with the resilience of natural forms. After years of creative direction with Bowen Island Soap Company, Helen has turned her focus to her art, creating evocative, tactile pieces that invite reflection and connection with the living landscape around us.
