Matt Vyner is a contemporary artist whose acrylic paintings are known for their vivid, vibrant colours that capture the natural beauty of British Columbia. Drawing inspiration from the awe-inspiring landscapes around him and his passion for snowboarding, Matt infuses his work with the energy and serenity of the mountains. His distinctive perspective reflects both the rugged terrain of his surroundings and his deep connection to nature.
In 2024, after 25 years in the lumber industry, Matt left his career to embrace a slower pace of life and focus more on his family and art from his home on Bowen Island.
Born in 1982 in North Vancouver, BC, Matt’s work celebrates the beauty and vitality of the natural world, using bold, expressive colours to evoke emotion and inspire viewers to see their surroundings in a new light.
