Demonstrations:  Sat & Sun, May 23 & 24 -12:30 pm Tanya Voormeij-de-Zwart will demo how she makes her tiny Dioramas.  Plus, join the fun of trying your hand at the Community Canvas and enter a draw for a painting by Jilly Watson.
Be sure to stop into the Church to view the Quilt Display - not to be missed.

The Thursday Art Group (TAG) is a Bowen Island group of Creatives that have been meeting and creating for over 50 years. Join them at Collins Hall. Paintings, ceramics, prints, bronze sculpture... all will be available.

The Bowen Island Fibre Arts Guild has 30 members of varied interests and backgrounds. There have been several group projects, such as the Houses and Homes quilt and the Piano Cozy. Other smaller projects, sharing information and ideas, Show and Tell, and great desserts are still part of the monthly meetings.

Enjoy a cider tasting or flight, grab lunch, a takeway Ploughmans board and a bottle of special Arts Tour Cider from the Lounge. Bowen Cider House will have cider and food specials as well as art demos and performances throughout the weekend. This Art HUB is Mid Island, a perfect stop in the middle of your Tour Adventure. Ample parking too!The Farm - The working farm is home to ducks and seasonal grazing sheep, as well as an edible garden that is incorporated into the menu. We purchased our 7-acre property Meadowbrook Corner in 2004, with the long term plan of opening a farm-based cidery using heritage cider apple trees. Since then we have planted over 1000 trees of 55+ different varieties and are adding to our orchards each year.The Cider -All fermentation, blending, and bottling happens on-site by experienced cidermaker Isaac, with help from owners Ben and Alastair. Our team consists of family members and close friends with a long history on the island who assist with all aspects of the business and the farm. Come check out our special Bowen Arts Tour small batch cider – a mixed fermentation cider made from dessert fruit and black cherries, aged in French red wine barrels!

Art Hub # 12 is an eclectic group of artists hidden away on a 6 acre magical garden and forest. You will find paintings, wood carvings, and different styles of wood turnings. The entrance to 1279 Buchanan Road is up at the top of the hill and the last driveway on your left and is well marked with signs and directional arrows leading to the house and studio.
Well worth the journey up Buchanan Road, Art Hub # 12 will showcase paintings both inside the studio as well as outside in the greenhouse and wonderful garden. There is a walkway through the rock bluff that leads to the wood turning workshop area. All areas are access friendly.
NOTE: This is a long driveway…...KEEP TO THE RIGHT………DO NOT STOP/PARK …….until you have reached the house, unless you see designated parking spots. Parking for 7 or 8 cars at the house and on the lawn.
